ICLCA is proud to offer different session types to expand the variety of presentations offered. Please consider submitting one or more presentations.
Pre-Conference Sessions (3 hours):
Pre-Conference sessions allow the presenter and attendees the opportunity to engage more fully with the session content during a three-hour session on Monday, October 20th.
General Interest Concurrent Session (50 minutes):
General Interest sessions consist of a presentation about an important topic related to the learning center profession, a specific program, research, or data, that allows for audience questions and brief discussion.
Panel (50 minutes)
Panel sessions allow multiple presenters from the same or different institutions to present and discuss how they have addressed a similar topic - leaving time for audience engagement.
Research and Scholarly Papers (50 minutes):
Presentations centered on published research or the outcomes of research relevant to the learning center profession.
Roundtable Discussion (50 minutes):
A less formal way to engage other attendees around a central topic or program area. Facilitators usually provide a brief introduction to a topic (5-10 minutes) and then lead a discussion with several prompting questions.
Workshop (50 minutes):
An interactive training, demonstration, or presentation that involves the audience's participation.
